OH lord Jesus! I have lost....drum roll.....10lbs..What am I doing?? many have asked well here is my personal recipe:Breakfast: My breakfast consisted of alternating 2 small-medium pancakes or 1-2 eggs scrambled with a 16 oz bottle of water...Don't want plain water Crystal Light was the life saver...don't like crystal light? squeeze lemon juice in your water and drink.
Lunch: I chose lunch as the meal to alternate with my Slim fast meal bar or Special K milkshake, or Juicing smoothie. You can alternate this with any main meal. When I used either one of the mentioned alternative I always drunk water with it. Plain or with the crystal light. I added fruit to my alternate meals to stay fuller. Since I run around alot I would get hungry and needed a heavier meal mid afternoon so I would go with light sandwich of ham, turkey, tuna, peanut butter and jelly, a salad, fruit salad.
Dinner: I ate whatever I cooked for the family. Being on a diet does not mean side meals have to be done unless you want it like that. If you are used to eating large portions then cut that portion in half. Add more vegetables to your meals and cook with Olive Oil instead of Vegetables. For any fried foods I did half and half of Olive Oil and Vegetable oil. Olive oil is expensive if you don't know where to shop for it and it's ok to go half and half it saves some money. For all other cooking I stuck to Olive Oil only. If you don't like the taste of it try sticking to generic Olive oil it is not as strong.
I ate dinner before 7pm and if I drank soda I stuck with diet Coke (zero calories) or my crystal light, water and lemon or just plain cold water.
SNACKS: I used the slim fast snack bars which is Fudge brownies because it didn't taste "diety" to me. If you don't want that then make a fruit salad, yogurt with granola, almonds, fruits (your choice), fruit snack bars, cereal. I occasionally sneaked a piece of cake or ice cream. That kept my sanity and binge eating.
I learned that an occasional "fatty" snack of my choice helped me from binge eating it all the time. I learned self-control in this diet. I prayed and asked God to help me through it and searched on line for easy meals, especially with snack that is my problem. I DID NOT do a slim fast or special K diet. Those are the diet meals I chose cause they were inexpensive and they taste good to me and helped me with the snack part of my diet.
EXERCISE: Keep up with exercise. I used the ten minute workout by Tiffany Rothe on YouTube and they helped when I had not had a chance to do a full workout. I also used the ten minute exercises to target my problem areas. I had stomach problems I worked those out, I worked on my legs while cooking by doing squats, I ran around with the kids as much as I could to build up sweat, I did "Just Dance" on the WII and sweat that out. I zumba at home by dancing and incorporating the routine from the ten minute exercises but if you can go to a class work it out. I also incorporated my weights as I worked out so I can tone up. Even when I watched TV I would get up and do squats, or jumping jacks, or a stomach exercise between commercials.
Listen I am a mom of 5 (sometimes 7) and a wife and I have to cook, do laundry, go to lessons, worship practice, home-school, take the kids to park and keep the house clean and so forth, so every chance I got I worked out. DO THE SAME. Incorporate your workout and you'll see a difference.
I set a goal for how much weight loss I wanted but I did not set how long it will take me. NO,NO, NO. That is setting yourself for failure. Just think "I have to be healthy for me and my babies" and get up and do it. If you missed any workouts fine make it up by your eating habits. We are not perfect and losing weight should not be chore but a goal. Yes I sometimes was like "forget it I want an ice cream" and I would get it and give myself a break. But I remembered that I had to get back on that grind or I will mess up what I've worked for. Philippians 4:13 says "I can do all things through CHRIST that strengthens me". So ask him to help you lose the excess weight and continue where you left off.
C'mon Men and Women get up and be a HEALTHY HERO....LOL...ok I sound like a commercial but I am talking to you from experience so go change how you eat, sleep and play. Start by cutting out the one unhealthy thing you eat everyday and replace it with something healthy that you like.....LETS START THERE.

OMG! I have lost 6 lb....Yes I had found out in May 3, 2013 that I
was....GULP....WOOOSSAAHHH....201 lb....Yeah
much in weight so I went on a juicing binge and exercise routine and have continued to do so. Now the juicing I have tweeked because It's I got bored of it so now I just use it as a snack filler. I have been doing portion control and not that I am eating like a bird but making my portions more controlled. If I am still hungry then I will drink water and eat Slim Fast snack bars or drink my veggie juice. I will get into the whole juicing in a day or two...But so far all is working and this friday I will be going to a Nutritionist so I will bring back some info for you guys!!...Let's do this together..GOZATE ESTA EN LO QUE VIENE LA OTRA!!

Yeah!! HEALTHY LIVING TIME!! OK so in December I was having some eating issues but I am back on track again. I got some news on my weight that I am not happy about and well ....if you fail, try, try again. SO I am once again tailoring my eating habits and adding exercise on a more daily level. Let's do this together. Let's join and work these pounds off for a healthier life. I have 5 kids and sometimes 7 when my step kids are home and I need the stamina. So Vitamin B Complex has been my main friend in helping to turn my food into energy. I am soon going to try juicing to help the healthy dieting and eating come along. Y sigo bailando...and I continue dancing. Ok I have not put up my weight for a reason....I DON'T WANNA...but will soon when significant weight has been lost. Anywhoo,...I've been working out and dancing and eating right..hmmmm what is eating right ....ok I am breast feeding so I have to eat all the time so dieting is out of the question at this time.BUUTTTT....YES I HAVE A BIG ONE...LOL...PERRROO..NO NOT DOG...LOL..ok ok ...Anywhoo I have cut out alot of treats and change them for one that still taste good but will not add the pounds...instead of cookies I eat Nature Valley oat's and dark chocolat...oh they help so much cause they good... then instead of late snack eating I eat carrots, love them and they fill me.. Soda is down to one a day or 3 a week Diet Pepsi caffein free 0 calories, alternating juice for Raspberry Ice tea only 110 calories. I am counting calories but like I said I am breastfeeding so I need the calories.TIP: when counting calories for your diet make the meal of the day choice be the one where the most is taken, example: you eat major breakfast then make that one the one you eat your calories most, if it's dinner then dinner and if its Lunch then lunch. Like that the rest of you meals or moderate. Snacks are your problem then choose snacks that are healthy and taste good.
EXAMPLE: Granola bars, apple with peanut butter, orange in or out of the can, just make sure its in light syrup or drain it. Fruit cocktail, in a can drained. Bowl of Corn Flakes w/light sugar, Cheerios w/light sugar, Honey bunches of oats, stay away from sugary cereals but don't deprive yourself from them it helps sometimes to eat a desired food just make sure its not eaten all the time, BUT if you know you can't control it then RUN FOREST RUN!!
Give yourself an off day in between your healthy streek...Allow yourself to indulge in something most wanted. It will not kill you..Now like I said if its something you know you can't control then continue your diet and keep on truckin'...
SUMMARY
Diets are not for everybody but healthy eating is.
Cut some of those fatty and empty calorie foods and had haearty meals.
Choose tastier snacks
DRINK ALOT OF WATER IT DOES HELP TO CLEAN YOUR SYSTEM AND IT MAKES YOU FULL!

Back to Basicos!Hey mi gente...I am on a losing weight streak..I just gave birth to my 5, fif, fith, Cinco, child and I need to lose the gordura...soooo, ZUMBA, JUST DANCE 2 & 3 and the Micheal Jackson Experience is what will help. I want to have fun losing the pansa, so I will dance it all away!
Now eating has to be a factor too. I really am not a dieting person...0_0...but I am going to eat properly...or try to...I've been cutting back on fast foods, and sodas (pop) and sweets. I have been replaing it with baby carrots(my fav), Nature Valley crunchy granola, Special K milkshakes and three healthy full course meals. I will using the named above snacks as the in between -I'm starving-need sweets replacers beleive me they work. I 've been starting this now for about 1 mth. The work out started about a week ago so I will post every 2 weeks for updates...Join me in my journey as we get Jennifer Lopez look alike ......hhahahah....yea ok....lets get healthy together!!! Feliz a~o nuevo!SKIN
Its a busy year already. I am now 16 wks and counting. My skin feels dry and brittle. So I went back my grapeseed oil, olive oil and Almond oil facial regimen. I was using the oil of olay facial wash for about a month and found that I love it! I did give up on outside products but I tried this one and fell in love with it. What I just did was that I washed my face twice a week with oil of olay and then continued my "grapoomand" lol nightly facial. In this winter weather I need the grapoomand facials cause it doesn't cause overdrying and my face feels ok. Being preggo makes it difficult to continue my regiments but I push myself cause it's my way to keep my skin on point.
HAIR!
Now my hair is in twisties. I have found that it needs to be protected from this winter cold. It's my first time having them in for so long and I've had them in for about 2weeks. I did a scalp treatment and retwisted them and my hair is extremely soft. I will co-wash for a while and see how that goes. I will keep you posted.
BODY!
My meals, OMG! its well....I have to go with this preggo state for right now cause this baby is not allowing me to eat properly. But for now we'll go with just that I am sticking to just salads and eggs, fried or scrambled and sea food peferably crab legs and shrimp. So I'll keep you posted. YA'LL COME BACK NOW YA HEAR!!
