Bueno mi gente! summer is upon us even though in some areas spring does not want to let up! anywayz what plans do you have for the summer? School is out kids are home, what inexpensive ways are there for parents to involve their children in a fun, educational, busy summer?? Well the YMCA is awesome!..There are so many programs for the youth at the Y and some of them are FREE for city children. Yes FREE! LIKE?????
Learnig how to play tennis program FREE for kids 8-16 that live in the CITY! No you do not have to sign up to the YMCA to register your children. Also there are programs that only cost about $30-$50 and it last 6-8 weeks. Keep them busy....investing in small programs help and keep your children busy for at least 2-3 hours a day MON- FRI....SI LUNES A VIERNES!!!....That beats paying $400-500 a week for camp. CHAAACHOOO!!.....
Now I have 5 kids...lol...yeah...CINCO...but at least the older 3 will be busy for about 3 hours a day where I can deal with the other small ones. This is for the stay at home MAMA'S...
Now if you work, there are church programs that work with you for your kids to still participate and be safe. Social Services do help and kick in if you work and have smaller children that need a safe place to stay...
Then there is summer school.....HAAAA! OK...ok kids may not needed it but you can still sign them up so that they can have a FREE place to go that is safe for a few hours and then you can work on the rest of the day...HOOK UP WITH A STAY AT HOME MOM! may be she can watch your kid (s) for half the price the programs are offering. HEY WE POBRE FOLKS WE NEED EVERY DIME WE CAN GET!......LOL...but yea, you can help a mom financially and they can watch your kid for a fraction of what daycares and summer camps are costing.
Bueno let me know what other programs are out there for your kids for the summer that other parents can benefit from. GOZATE ESTA EN LO QUE VIENE LA OTRA!!
