CAMBIO SEVERO~ MAJOR CHANGE!

Bueno mi gente que la paz de Dios los acompa~e en este nuevo a~o....Well my peeps may the peace of God be with you in this new year! I have found that major changes are occuring in my life everyday and I think its time for it!... My hair is growing I'm getting to know the ins and outs of caring for natural hair. But in the same token I'm seeing how confident its making me feel.  I feel free to be me and that includes in my dressing and makeup and way of thinking...Ser differente es bueno! Being differnet is good!  I believe that being myself allows me to teach my kids confidence in their life's journeys.  Not that I wasn't confident when I had relaxers or chemically induced hair but I felt like I was following the norm and sometimes the norm makes you a clone to society and we look the same! Veo muchas differiencias! I see alot of differences! and that is good being unique makes you stand out and other want to ask questions so it gives you opportunities to express your mind! I chose to become natural because my hair was breaking and brittle an wouldn't grow to its potential...Now I see that being Natural is a way of life! its showing what GOD has given you from birth and researching gives me all the information I need to see how Nature has provided all I need to cultivate and expand my Natural hair.  In the same aspects it gives me ideas on how to nurish me in a more Natural way! Being a Rican of color makes it hard for others to see me for me cause they are always assuming who I am and until I speak my language thats when the questions and concerns pop up! Now with my Natural hair it makes them really want to know more and I can get a chance to really explain who I am... It attracts folks to ask questions and makes me more than happy to answer. So when you see a Natuaralista coming at you remember that not all are african american folks ask questions you might be surprised at the Natural answer given!....GOZATE ESTA EN LO QUE TE VIENE LA OTRA!
